my cats badass, she's tough as nails, but crazy too. if i walk past her in the morning with out giving her food she pounces on me and wraps her front paws around my leg, i gotta drag her across the floor. i came in the house yesterday and she was running around frantically looking for something, then i found the 15cm tail off a lizard on the kitchen floor. i picked it up and said to her "whats this", she just sniffed it and looked away as if to say "i aint never seen that before"

my dog is a mad dude, his dad is a $2000 natural bobtail rottweiler and his mum is a doberman. he was the only one in the litter born with a tail, but he's got his markings coming through on his cheeks, chest and ankles. when he was born, he was twice as big as all the other pups, and in those first 12 weeks he grew like crazy. dead set people couldn't believe he was from the same litter. judging by the size of his paws, i'd say he's going to keep growing to. his dad's a monster, and weighs about 80kgs, i'll be happy if he doesn't grow over 60kgs, he's only 6 months old and already takes my girlfriend for a walk. vet says he'll keep growing until he's 2 and to be in for a surprise

Damn, he'll be huge in no time. One of my cats just jumped off my lap, left a trail of fur as a gift though lol. I used to own a huge BEAUTIFUL black Newfoundland, loved it to pieces but had to get rid of her because when I moved into this dump the landlord said "no way!".

Here's a pic:

Wait till you see the pic of my cat Fluffy, its like a minature version of the dog :)

wow man, that dog is beautiful. great swimmers too, which is amazing considering the amount of fur they haul around.
my brother has the best dog i've ever seen, it's a 90kg english bull mastiff, he loves when i come over to visit because i give him mad scratches in the grooves of the wrinkles on his nose. most people are sh*t scared of him, but i roll around with him. he dragged my brother across the road one day to bark at the dog across the street. funniest thing i've ever seen, my brother getting dragged on his back by this massive dog

Lol yeah that'd be a Kodak moment for sure. Bull Mastiffs are awesome dogs, wouldn't mind owning one oneday. I am definately going to own another Newfoundland in the near future too. I was seriously thinking about not moving into this place because he wouldn't let me keep my dog, but in the end I had no other choice. Was a sad sad day that's for sure, had her for years. Yeah, they are amazing swimmers, they weigh a bloody tonne though so I don't see how!. Have you just got the one cat??

Oh yeah, there was a Dove in my backyard before and I was feeding it bread and thinking how rare it was for a Dove to come over. All of a sudden the kitten comes flying out of the bush and grabs the Dove by the neck and starts running off!!. I gave chase and managed to make the cat drop the bird from it's mouth while it ran away. The Dove flew up onto the top of the fence, it was bleeding a little from it's neck and standing dead still from the shock of it all. At the moment, I've got him (or her), sitting in the garage in a dark cardboard box to calm down.

Going to check on it again soon, everything should be okay. If it's condition gets worse, I'll call Bird Control. But if it's allgood then I'll keep it and make up a Dove box :).

yeah just one cat, i inherited it from my mum when she went to samoa, she was such a sook when she was my mums. but i lived with my mum at the time so i was her other owner, she used to live in my room because i played with her heaps when she was little

poor dove hey, and they say dove's bring good luck, guess his luck ran out today, bloody birds probably thinkin you set it up for the ambush, or your cat was thinkin "yeah that's right, just lure that thing a little closer"

my cat usually follows me out to the shed to see what i'm getting up too, if i got my bonnet up she jumps up and looks around like she knows something about it. this one day i said to her "come on, lets go to the shed" but she didn't follow, i got out there and there was feathers all over the place, no bird though, she knew she would get in trouble that's why she didn't follow

They're clever little things arn't they? :). There were 3 cats eyeing up the Dove, but only the kitten had the balls to do anything about it. I've currently got 4 cats around my house that I own, Fluffy being my favourite, I'll get a pic hopefully by tonight. I would of had 5 cats if it wasn't for my brother running over my first cat in the driveway about 6months ago. Lol that's funny how cat's follow us places, one of my cats follows me to the shed aswell (personally I think she loves the smell of the buds).

About a year ago I had 3 chickens and 3 hens living out the back in a coupe, used to be a bit of fun. Not so much when it came to cleaning the coupe once a week though...

my cat got picked on when she little by birds and other cats, she used to come running home to get me. i'd go out the front and sit with her, and she'd look at the cats like "what now" and she'd also have the guts to chase the birds away if i was there. that's when i started calling her puppy, plus i taught her to play fetch aswell, my mum hated it. man the neighbors looked at me strange when i'd go out and call "puppy" and this fluffy white cat came running

r.i.p your old cat

Haha the neighbours were probably thinking "what's this guy on?". Kittens are quick learners aye, they copy their owners alot too and pick up on things. One of my cats called Possum use to be a wild cat when I got her and didn't like being patted at all, but now she snuggles up on my bed every night and clims into my lap while I'm sitting on the beanbag typing away on the forum. Hard to type when she's there but I don't mind, just glad that she's not so predatory anymore.

Thanks for the RIP, she's burried in the back garden by one of the chickens that passed away

yeah, my cat asks to sit on my lap by coming and putting one paw up like she's pointing at my lap, i just say yep and she jumps up... i've also taught her say milk, i know it sounds crazy, but when i got to the fridge she runs over and looks straight at the milk bottle and meows, but it sounds like she's says milk, and it's like no other meow she ever does. i say "do you want some milk" she looks at me then back at the milk and all i get is this "mee-ilk, she's the funniest cat man, you'd honestly trip out if you met her, especially the way she slaps me some skin every time i walk past her. i put my hand out and she slaps my hand then pulls her paw away real slow

Haha what an awesome cat!! Wish my cat knew tricks like that :D. I'll have to try and teach my cat to say milk, although I don't know if I'll have much luck. It's times like those when you wonder if your cat is a reincarnation of a previous human.
Getting my flatmate to take the Dove to the Bird Rescue centre now, it's not improving. Told him that I couldn't take it up because I was too busy on the forum :), said my goodbyes to the bird though.

This is Posh, the one that passed away. My Mum had named her. This is more like a tribute. About the only few photos I have of her when she was alive, check out the pupil size difference in pic one and two!:

holly hell andrew, you got some pets, an 18 year old cat, i bet that one doesn't party much anymore

and scott, your cats look awesome man, fluffy looks mad as, possum looks lazy as hell, but funny in the pantry. posh looks just like the cat my mum has now in samoa, i just seen photos today. and levin, levin looks like one of those crazy cats that freaks out on everything and runs sideways across the lounge and stuff.
puppy loves getting into boxes and stuff, if i drop an empty beer carton on its side and leave it, puppy goes into this little crouch and pounce mode, then charges flat out into the box, hits the back of it and skids across the floor. she comes out with this look on her face as if to say "did you see that sh*t". she even has this little basket of toys that she some times lays on like she's gaurding them. her favorite thing to do lately is to come and lay on the slot car track, i come flying around the track and stop in front of her, she looks at the car for a second and just smashes it off the track with her paw
