just thought i'd post up some of my artwork so you could all see what i do

a dj on 3 skateboard decks

a stencil i cut of kelsee 60cm high x 80cm wide

a car bonnet i painted as a live art display at an arts festival

the following 3 are a self portrait series 1.2m high x 3m wide

this is a self portrait 1.2m high x 1m wide

another self portait 1m high x 1.2m wide

i have a whole bunch more but can't get photos at the moment
i'm getting stuff together to hopefully have a solo exibition early next year
hopefully that will be my ticket into the game

Damn bro, you've got some real talent there! I'm really feeling the decks with the DJ, looks good as. Wouldn't even want to ride them in case I scratched the brilliant artwork underneath. The rest of the pics are cool too, the shadowing has been done really well. Was the bonnet pic airbrushed on??

cheers man, i had a guy in the states from the skaters site i go to wanting to buy the decks but i didn't want to sell them. the bonnet was done with a brush, i spent about six hours on that the day at the festival, mainly because heaps of people were stopping and talking.

here's a couple more i did recently of friends and my grandparents
and a bit of pen work of my all time favorite past time "graffiti

there's one there i know you're gonna love

Brooooo that's some amazing work!! You are the man at bombing (graffiti). That's the sort of designs I want throughout the city instead of crappy tags. Loving the second to last pic aswell :D. You've got quite a collection there, I'll have to get you to do some sketches for me one day, for cash of course ;)

the sketches i mainly do during boring art history lectures. i mean i love art history and all but i've been studying it for years and there's only so much one can handle. i already have a couple of extra credits on my paintings so i shouldn't have to much trouble getting in to uni next year, thats the plan anyway. go to uni, become a teacher, make money... and paint

Just a quick question, are all those pictures 100% finger painted, aka with a brush. or are they like photographed and expanded and just tweaked. They look to real to be true. Like the last one, is that last pic a full painted picture.

thanks guys, hey astaroth yeah everything is 100% hand painted with a brush in acrylics, except the house, that was my first oil painting. no camera tricks, i spent alot of time getting my proportions right to do that sort of art because the negative space plays just as much a part as the positive space to create the image that the eye forms. i'm working on 3 paintings at the moment that will be entered into 2 artshows, the first has a major prize of 5 grand and the second has a major prize of 10 grand... wish me luck

don't worry you're not the first person who has said that about my art
alot of people say it looks photoshopped until they see the actual paintings
which some of them are quite huge

below are some of the photos which i painted from
i have all the photos of the girls faces i painted on my zip stick in my locker at college, can post them up tomorrow

regards, stacy

thanks heaps, the first one needs a bit more, but i've packed all my stuff for the move tomorrow and the second one was a commission, i did it cheap as a business opportunity (bottle of jim beam)... when i get the first one finished i want her to hang it at the day care she works at, also as a business opportunity. i'm getting a fair bit of interest lately, but i don't want to take on to much because i also have to finish my studies, 6 more months on my diploma then 2 years and i'll have a bachelor degree... woot woo
