Alrighty livewire, im gonna just mention somthing that i belive the cp community should know about that i want to express. And Steve if you want, you can delete this anytime.

Livewire: If you mayhave noticed, cp has been making many cruise to various areas of the past few months or years. I would just like to say that there is something even better trhan just a plain old cruise to carparks behind mc Donalds.

Why dont you encourage them to go to the wsid drags for once, cruising to carparks isnt really that fascinating or enjoyable. If youse go to the drags its something that hasnt been done before.

The most ever cordias i raced against is 2 other cordia's.

Sleeping giant.

Cruising on the streets is kinda old and boring, the drags is the place to go, even you went, im sure you would enjoy going up agaisnt other cordias.

When was the last time 10+ cordoas went to the drags NEVER. Be the boss and encourage them to do what other car clubs do like the >

That place will be really good to show what there cars are made of, i know for a fact that alot of members has expressed lots of big claims, and i reckon the drag nigfht will be there chance to proove what they got.

dont you need to pay to used WSID? if so im sure some people would be turned off by that. also some people dont have an interest in dragging and cruises are not about racing around but more so socialising with fellow enthusiasts and sharing a good time.

but hey, if it was me and i had the chance to go to the drags i would for sure, but i guess not everyone is like me/us

its only 50 bux to eneter, and by no means its free at all. Cruising is old fashion, has been done to many times, they need a break and should do soemthing diffrent like others do.

One off at least, it aint gonna hurt them to even try.

Im not a circuit racing freak, but i tried it, i went to wakefield park.

Its not like they are asked to go every singe wedsday to drag race, people are brainwashed to think that drag racing is just drag racing. They fail to realise that there is a major majority of socialising involved aswell, Like there is not just a driver and a car and concrete, its the whole works.

drag racing is motre fun cos youse can compare cordias with mods, Hey, guess who won over 2000 bux, yes $2000 + bux at the drags ME.

So you see, you can pay $50 to enter and leave with $950 dollars, like i did before. So yeah, if no one has ever drag races, they have no idea what there missing out on. Seeing as thou some people are to scerd to go by themselves, well its this opportunity they can go in a big group and with same level experience of racing, novice etc.

They will be all at the same league etc, so no embaressment or scared levels to be ashamed of.

I prefer to spend $50 bux to go racing than $50 bux in petrol to drive long distances to stand around in car parks. ETC!

the last melb cruise i went on with cp was not by any streth slow and steady driving... we went for a drive through the hills/twisties at the base of mount dandenong in melb 20 odd k's of tight windy roads... was great fun! (good thing there were no speed cameras out because everyone woulda copped nice sized fines)... needless to say i wouldnt call it boring by any stretch..... we were pushing the cars to their limits, aparently there was a puff of flames off one of my front disks at one stage, and a couple of bends later brake fade really started to set in so we slowed rite down for a couple of k's before getting back into it.... best fun ive had outside of a bed in a long time ;) 8)

Doing a lil flogging is not to bad here and there, but still not the same as controlled legal safe environment at the drags.

If everyone at that time thrashed their cars to see what they can dom, well it just shows that they could do it at the track.

Driving up mountains is hell alot not as safe and beneficial as driving at the drags.

You could win money at the drags, unlike sitting and standing around in carparks, thats my point.

If cordia people dont take their cordias to the track and represent the cordia name, well they wont ever. Its kinds shamefull.

I have these thoughts to why they donet even attempt to go >

1. they are scared to go by themselves
2. they dont have fast cordias
3. their scared that there cordia will fall apart or break.
4. they have no money.

No excuses, everyone started from somewhere.

i understand what youre saying... i actually like that cordias are under represented... means you dont get hasseled by cops all the time like the evo/rex/silvia/skyline drivers do

yeah that is so true! no doubt a night at the drags would be fantastic, and it is a valid idea roger, but i guess its not everyones cup of tea. Maybe if they organised to have everyone pay a certain amount of money to put it all into a money pot and 1st 2nd n 3rd win money then hey, it may get some people to come out but at the end of the day, id rather fang her through the hills than go for a drag cos its take more of a driver and a car to turn a corner let alone many of them rather than hoot in a straight line. obviously dont take this as a dig at ur idea cos i reckon its great and if more people were in sa (and AIR wasnt a shithole) id definitely advocating such an event!

Everybody does it on the street, no matter how its described on what is done on the road and where, its NOTHING compared to a drag night, not even close. The thing is, it doesnt matter if its not someones taste, its not like im asking anyone to put there car strapped to a sling shot and frown into the aifr and landing on a net ITS drag racing on land and normal concrete.

Like i siad b4, im not a circuite racer, im not a cruiser to car parks, im not a drift car or any of that crap, the thing is, its should be tried at least once.

Out of 1800 members on cordiapower, howe many went to wakefield park to a trackday, NONE. Pafetic if you ask me.

If they are scared to go to the dragsm, well, they shouldnt have the right to own cordias, Pffff, people own suzuki swiftas, suzuki mighty boys, diahatsu charades, 3 cylinder diaghatsu mira turbo's and they still go.

There is no excuses at all, everybody does it. If they feel ashamed to drag there cordia out, well, they should sell it. To have a fun time, it doesnt come free. $50 is what it costs to enter, cos, why is this even a issue to bring up, its not like its 500 bux its only 50 dollars.

#2 i live 2.5 hours away from Sydney and as far as i know the drags are on Wed nights so... F%#k that.
#3 myself and probably most others dont really want there cordias screeming down a track as we dont want to prove who's cordia we can beat as personally im 26 and over that 'hero' stage want to make sure my car gets me home on its own wheels and not a tow trucks.

I hear what u are saying though but alot of us come from a fair distance so it takes a whole day to only meet up for ay 2 hours

You are most welcome to attend Roger and if being at the front of the pack will make you feel like "King Cordia" then go for it. Just remember the person at the front of the pack is the first to get caught speeding :)

Im not sure how or why you think cordiapower members would feel taunted if you come either :S cause i certainly wont feel that way and im sure the rest wont either even though there will most likely be quicker and more powerful cordias than yours its not what a cruise is about. Im going to meet other cordia owners, have a chat, have some lunch, check out the other cordias and have a good time.... not to be jealous or wish i had a faster cordia. Its a cruise... not a race, dyno shoot out or a debate and im sure the others attending feel the same.

I happen to visit this meeting point, i drove in the driveway/carpark to make my cordia Prescence felt real hard. My cordia was the loudest car in that carpark i must say.

I saw a burgundy cordia, whish i belive was Taba. Than later i saw a white cordia drive past.
Than i did another driveby, just to let em know what their dealing with. It gave em a taste of what the Monster cordia is all about.

Nah, me not needing to go to cruise, im not a cruiser. Cruising is nothing. racing is where the men show off there machines.

If they want the priveledge to see and go head to head with my cordia, they will have to join me at the drags.

roger i seen u ur car it is a nugget you boosted on the street behind me and u didn move..there were 3 skylines in there that would whoop ur ass and there were 5 cordias that would whoop ur ass.. and ido13s would put urs in a grave i garentee it... and jus face it u didn stay cause u were scared he came lookin for u to see if u were comin and suprise suprise u were gone with ur tail between ur legs.. anyway it was a good cruise and ido13s has come along way and will only get better and lovin the rims by the way.. and i blew head gasket between 2 cylinders aswell jus after galston gorge still made to penrith as well on 3 cylinders lmao...

Initially i thought your car was a sigma, i left that location at 10 oclock, like i said earlier, i dont cruise with slow cordias, your issue of that white average looking cordia explains itself.

I found it interesting to say that ido13's even showed up, despite hyim saying he wont make it due to rain on cordiapower.

If you were to have your brain function working, you would have noticed a speed bump on that stretch of road, the road is no place of boosting due to incomming traffic in all directions.

Just to remind you cordia2crazy, i already whooped VR4 POWERED CORDIAS, racing a vr4 cordia these days is nothing to me, so dont think its all so special, cos to me its not, but for you i guess it is, cos your not experienced in the fast lane.

Your exposure to this 1 (one ) vr4 cordia is over whelming you.
