This thing will decimate all.......once I've put another fifteen grand into it!
thanks bitza
just a fyi with doing this.... someone had done it on the cruise on sat... someone else made the point while it gives you a more reliable igniter you lose knock control.. so for the day to day user it isnt an issue but if you start upping a boost etc its posibly not the best option

Thanks Jimi,
I mainly put up this post due to some guys were waiting ages for an E101 replacement.
This will allow you to drive the car instead of waiting.
Yes, knock control is lost, but from my experience the knock controller only listens to no 1 cylinder......won't retard the timing if no 4 is knocking.
Cheers.
all good.. just thought it was something worth mentioning
can somone tell me y you dont just wire the aftermarket coil into the existing loom?

The E101 requires an input from the reluctor to fire the plug..........you can replace the dizzy with a points system and it will work, as the cordia runs seperate ignition to fuel..............cordia ECU is fuel only.
