Hey guys, my brother in law has a 2004 lancer and wants a turbo motor put into it, would a vr4 motor fit in, if not what would you guys recommend. He doesn't wanna spend too much. He has around 4-6,000 to play wit, any suggestions?

oh fuk, what about a turbo kit, would that be a good idea? and what sort would be rcommended?
A turbo kit would be great..........just google the idea as small amounts of boost should be ok on the N/A motor........large amounts will need the engine to be de-compressed............causing more cost.
from what ive heard, 6psi is the limit without de-compressing. My mate did it a few years back. Went hard though!

The VR4 won't fit that model as the original engine faces the other way, It would be best to get the EVO engine instead, that way everything lines up including the gearbox...........the only problem is try finding and EVO 8 engine for under $4000.
