Hey guys
i just want to start off and say thanks to everyone that has made this website possible, its sweet for us cordia freaks.
I currently live in auckland, New Zealand my name is Dave and i am a Sales Manger at Eking nz (online mobile phone store)
i currently own a Black 1986 AC Cordia GSR with the standard stock sohc engine.
current mods so far:
*38MM Wastgate
*HKS SQV 3 BOV
*17" Advanti racing rims with low profile tyres
*Boost Tap
*custom 2.5" piping from turbo to throttlebody.
*Turbo timer
*Boost Gauge
*Kill switch
*Engine and Turbo Reconed about 80,000 kms ago
*Decent Headdeck with competition speakers
I have owned this cordia for about a year now..when i first got it, it was all standard so i have done a little bit of work to it all
mostly done by Magwarehouse Pukekohe. This Cordia was owned by a old man which keep it in his garage for ages and got it reconed
so it has really been taken care of most of its life which is a good thing.(dont worry im taking extra special care of the old girl)
Future Mods:
*4G63 engine
*deeper dished rims
*Front Mount
*Full Exhaust
*Suspension (just brought some off brazza lol)
Hope everyone likes my GSR, id love to hear everyones throughts.
thank you very much for your time hope to hear from everyone.

Hi Andrew
Thanks for that mate.
i Have been reading alot of your posts and you seem to know your stuff.
im glad there is still people left in this world like you.
so do you reakon that suspension i brought of brazza will fit my cordia?
thanks for your time mate.
Dave
Can't see a problem with it Dave..........all years are interchangeable.
Oh sweet thanks for that.
Also since your online at the mo
i have a quick question..i have hooked up a boost tap and my wastegate
doesnt seem to be opening up anymore would you know why?
i did read some of your other posts about this bout wasnt sure.
cheers in advance.
The problem you have is the air flow front the turbo compressor is too large..............you need to put a 1mm restrictor in the vac line from the compressor to the boost tap.............this will allow you to gain more boost for smaller turns of the dial.........without it 4 turns may only increase boost by 1 psi. Just be sure to run a fuel cut defender, after 13 psi the ECU will cut the spark due to overboost. (Protection)
If your tap won't allow air to bleed it's probably blocked, just remove it and clean with some degreaser.........then blow out if you have a compressor.
That is one mean looking Cordia,Dave.
Wayne
cheers wayne
what car you currently driving?
im guessing the 84GT has something to do with it.
Hi Dave,
My Cordia is a Jap import.
It has the A213A chassis so parts can be an issue.
I just love driving it.I have owned it for over 13 years and have nearly driven 197,000 in it.
You?
i drive this cordia i have listed lol
love black cordias !!!! nice car mate
