I bought some 6" speakers and wondering if they'll fit in the front in the dash where the stock speakers are? What the best method to fit this type of speaker? Cheers guys

From my experience they will not fit in the dash, the factory speakers are a very odd size and very slim.

There are two 3.5” and one 5.5” speakers (IIRC) within the dash. However, this is not the problem; the main issue with fitting aftermarket speakers in the dash is the clearance for the larger magnets on the much more powerful aftermarket speakers.

Again, this was my experience, anyone else given it a go?

dude.. theres no way they are gonna fit in the dash pockets.....

just work on fitting them in the doors.. or find smaller speakers that are the right size to fit in dash.. maybe Jaycar electronics. i know they have a load of odd sized  car audio speakers, but i dont know what the quality of them are.. there a random brand.

GL with it

Anyway I went down and bought a couple of 6" pods for the door trims, they should look sweet as once fitted... just gotta wait for this gross heat to dissipate!

Haha yeah I was wondering if there was a problem there! Im pretty sure i have cookies set to expire like 12 or 24 hours, so it shouldnt be a problem with that... Unless your phone is dropping cookies for some reason... What phone you using bro?

hmm.. with my old LG u8360 i installed the Opera Mobile Browser, as my original browser that ships with it, is crap and i have issues like that....

but running opera mobile made it more compatible, unlike most built in browsers, they usually are only optimised for mobile web/or wep sites.

try it see what happens.. its just a Java installer. and should work..
