Ok, I've just bought a Cordia as a project car, the body is very straight, interrior is great, but the head on the engine is warrped. So I figure a bigger better engine may aswell be put in right?

I've been doing some research on these cars but still dont kno a lot of technical stuff about them, so can people tell me is it possible to put a DOHC 4g63 engine in them without spending or doing anything riduclous? also I kno that I will probly get abused for this but... is it possible to get a B series honda Vtec in their once again without spending anyhting stupid (I ask this because my cousin just upgraded the engine in his civic and has a very Strong B18c7 that he will sell me for a very good price). any help will be very appreciated!!!

Welcome to Cordiafreaks,

Plenty of us have put DOHC's in the cordia they are basically a direct fit.

You will need to fabricate a passenger side engine mount, all other mounts simply bolt in.

The only real money grabber is either running an aftermarket computer or swapping the cordia wiring for the VR4 one.

So my best bet is to go with the 4g63 out of the VR4? am I going to have to swap gearboxes? or can the one in the cordia fit with the engine?

Be careful of the EVO engines................they will fit but make sure it has a 6 bolt crank.(Flywheel)..........not 7.

Simple answer..........no, the 7 bolts run a different block pattern and a crank girdle............just easier to find a 6 bolt, that way you won't have to stuff around while flywheels and clutches.
