I was stuffing around in the shed today and was wondering about clear headlights.....................the cordia headlight is mainly the starion light with an extension.   The first photo shows the light without the glass:(Which I broke, but I have many)   DSCF1870.JPG   Next is the light without the extension:   DSCF1871.JPG   Looks like the Starion light:   Next photo is of the extension alone:   DSCF1872.JPG   I borrowed a photo from Austarion of the new lights:   Starion light.jpg   So.............with a new clear lens made to suit the cordia, plastic lights could be easily made.............OH and if your thinking why there is no reflector in the cordia light pictures, don't ask me as I was surpised not to find one!   DSCF1873.JPG   The total glass of the light could be replaced with UV stable plastic..............just need to see how much it would cost for production. This is a Cordiafreaks exclusive...........no post on other forums.

Yeah that's a very interesting idea, I've never thought about that before... It'd be interesting to see fitted to the car!  You always have new cool ideas Andrew!

Mint, bro i found a few sheets of Polycarbonate here for $100 for the lot, close by too... apparently they use it for drag car windows lol.
Was gonnabuy some and just smash the glass outa the spare headlights i have, cut to fit, glue and seal onto that... see if that works aswell.   Bit of fun mucking round doing something while i wait for my motor to get done at least.

I reckon if this little project of yours turns out Andrew, you should make them to order and sell them... I reckon you'd make quite a few sales! Lookin sweet!.... you gonna just melt the plastic over these moulds in a little oven thing? We did a little plastic moulding in school, it was awesome!   I look forward to seeing how yours goes! hehe ;)

I will mould the poly using a heat gun and some patience...............as for parkers...........the starion photo above shows a parker in the bottom of the headlight............if need be I'll replace the whole light, let's just see how this little adventure goes first.   I've just had a look at the parkers...........they have a rebate to ensure the rubber seal is in place.............this would mean a 2 piece mould........not to mention you can't get the lense off without breaking the backing.
