Hi Guys,
My AB idles great when cold,as soon as it warms up it starts to blow black smoke at idle,it runs 770cc Rochester injectors and i fitted a SARD boost compensated fuel regulator to try and correct the problem,it has improved the driveability but it still runs rich at idle.
Any Suggestions? Are the injectors too big ? Cheers
No the injectors arent too big, Theyre smaller than stock AB actually. O-rings can be the culprit of fuel problems once warm.

Thanks for the response guys;
1. i have not touched the computor or airflow meter that came with the car. What should i look For?
2.Fuel pressure regulator is adjustable and is Boost sensitive/rising rate,fitted with pressure gauge.
3.I had the injectors flowed and cleaned with new orings they how i found out what size the are.
4.I have another computor that is AB specific and has been rebuilt and chipped (have not tried it as yet).
The car starts great when cold no smoke,the minute it warms up the black smoke starts,its not lacking power, when ur on lite throttle it surges/hunts, this has improved since i fitted the adjustable fuel reg.
Have done the unplug test on AFM it made no difference,appears AFM dead.
Tried another AB computor idles great no smoke,but huge flatspot,am thinking AFM ????

CAR HAD AC COMPUTER NOT AB.
AFM FAULTY,NOT QUITE DEAD.
FITTED RIGHT COMPUTER AND ANOTHER AFM, RESET TPS AND ISC ,CLEANED CONNECTORS.
CAR SURGES SLIGHTLY ON LIGHT THROTTLE,BUT NOT ON BOOST, LEADING ME TO BELEIVE THAT THE FUEL FILTER IS NO GOOD,PURCHASING SAME TOMORROW.
